In the 13th minute, Terceirense F.C.'s Tobias Guterres seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Tobias Guterres the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Terceirense F.C. protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Tobias Guterres had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 13 played minutes Terceirense F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Tobias Guterres. The long shot by Loy Berns in the 14th minute really tested Hamilton Gouveia's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 15th minute Pitt Terwiesche shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hamilton Gouveia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hamilton Gouveia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leif Schreiber in the 19th minute of the match. Pitt Terwiesche received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Hamilton Gouveia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Udo Gellrich made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexandre Vasconcelos in the 27th minute of play. With an all-out effort, SV Klingsmoos's Hamilton Gouveia threw himself towards the right post 33 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ephraim Stübgen, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Henning Schmitter hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Baltasar Saraiva's late challenge caught a SV Klingsmoos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Baltasar Saraiva helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Terceirense F.C. getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Baltasar Saraiva hit a great ball. Loy Berns, 37 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 40th minute, Pitt Terwiesche reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Hamilton Gouveia. The goal made the score 1-0. After a rather tough play, SV Klingsmoos's Orlando Zettler got a free kick in the 44th minute. In the 46th minute Pitt Terwiesche shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hamilton Gouveia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ephraim Stübgen to make the kick off. 56 minutes into the game, Pitt Terwiesche cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Hamilton Gouveia was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Terceirense F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Alexandre Vasconcelos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post.
