Terceirense F.C.'s Hamilton Gouveia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Egídio Trindade in the 6th minute of play. In the 12th minute Egídio Bacelar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Viriato Leal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Viriato Leal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Aveiro in the 13th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling David Aveiro in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Viriato Leal prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Hamilton Gouveia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Egídio Trindade, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Hamilton Gouveia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Egídio Trindade in the 18th minute of the match. David Aveiro hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. In the 20th minute of the match Cristiano Garcia sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hamilton Gouveia skillfully saved the ball. The supporters of Sporting Clube Patrício booed when Terceirense F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adélio Caiado didn't get a good kick on the ball. Viriato Leal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Aveiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Sporting Clube Patrício's Viriato Leal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Aveiro in the 25th minute of play. 31 minutes into the match, Normando Conde had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Viriato Leal. Sporting Clube Patrício's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Normando Conde was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. After 37 minutes of play, Sporting Clube Patrício's Claudemiro Gomes made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hamilton Gouveia was left in no man's land by his defense there! Egídio Trindade took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hamilton Gouveia. Hamilton Gouveia dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

Sporting Clube Patrício's Viriato Leal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Aveiro in the 52nd minute of play. A collision led to Terceirense F.C. getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Adélio Caiado hit a great ball. If Claudemiro Gomes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hamilton Gouveia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claudemiro Gomes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hamilton Gouveia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Madeira in the 61st minute of the match. Terceirense F.C.'s Hamilton Gouveia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Madeira in the 65th minute of play. After 66 minutes of play, Terceirense F.C.'s David Aveiro made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Viriato Leal was left in no man's land by his defense there! Viriato Leal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Egídio Bacelar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 71st match minute, Sporting Clube Patrício was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cassiano Severo to maneuver through the defense. In the 73rd minute, Claudemiro Gomes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hamilton Gouveia was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-3. The supporters of Terceirense F.C. booed when Sporting Clube Patrício was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Madeira didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 79th minute, David Aveiro made a precise shot to the right of Viriato Leal. Sporting Clube Patrício's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-4. After 85 minutes, Normando Conde mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Terceirense F.C. and the Sporting Clube Patrício players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Terceirense F.C.'s Normando Conde got a free kick in the 85th minute. Hamilton Gouveia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claudemiro Gomes, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Sporting Clube Patrício's David Madeira suffered a concussion in the 90th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. Sporting Clube Patrício's Paulo Marques was substituted for David Madeira. In the 91st minute, Egídio Bacelar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Egídio Trindade in the 93rd minute of play forced Terceirense F.C.'s goalkeeper Hamilton Gouveia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Egídio Trindade recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Terceirense F.C.'s supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
