FC Pegasas Siauliai's supporters crossed their fingers, but Valentas Daunoras was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to FC Pegasas Siauliai getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Marijus Guzas hit a great ball. FC Pegasas Siauliai were awarded a corner in the 11th minute after Sporting Clube Patrício's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Klemensas Rožėnas took the corner. The corner led FC Pegasas Siauliai's Klemensas Rožėnas to fire away a dangerous shot which Viriato Leal despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Madeira in the 12th minute of play forced FC Pegasas Siauliai's goalkeeper Audrius Dūdėnas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 14 minutes into the match, Sporting Clube Patrício's goalkeeper Viriato Leal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pranas Jacinaitis. FC Pegasas Siauliai's Audrius Dūdėnas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudemiro Gomes in the 17th minute of play. In the 19th minute, Claudemiro Gomes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Egídio Trindade in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Audrius Dūdėnas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match clock showed 28 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Egídio Trindade sped through FC Pegasas Siauliai's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Audrius Dūdėnas. Audrius Dūdėnas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sálvio Sá in the 34th minute of play. After 35 played minutes Sporting Clube Patrício got a freekick which was hit by Cristiano Garcia. In the 36th minute of the match Klemensas Rožėnas sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Viriato Leal skillfully saved the ball. Egídio Trindade scored 0-2 in the 41st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Audrius Dūdėnas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 44 played minutes Sporting Clube Patrício got a freekick which was hit by Cassiano Severo. Viriato Leal came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Pegasas Siauliai's Pranas Jacinaitis. But to his dismay, Pranas Jacinaitis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. After the first half Sporting Clube Patrício were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Marius Kieža made the kick off in the second half. FC Pegasas Siauliai's Audrius Dūdėnas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Madeira in the 55th minute of play. In the 57th minute, Sporting Clube Patrício's Egídio Trindade dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. FC Pegasas Siauliai's Audrius Dūdėnas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Madeira in the 61st minute of play. When Juliano Simões fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sporting Clube Patrício's protests and gave Juliano Simões a yellow card for diving instead. In the 63rd minute, Juliano Simões hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Audrius Dūdėnas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Egídio Trindade in the 66th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Madeira in the 68th minute of play forced FC Pegasas Siauliai's goalkeeper Audrius Dūdėnas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Viriato Leal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marius Kieža in the 70th minute of the match. Sálvio Sá sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 74 minutes, Valentas Daunoras mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Pegasas Siauliai and the Sporting Clube Patrício players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 74th minute, Valentas Daunoras hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, FC Pegasas Siauliai's Adolfas Karanauskas got a free kick in the 79th minute. David Madeira hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. After 84 played minutes, FC Pegasas Siauliai's Adolfas Karanauskas shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Viriato Leal came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC Pegasas Siauliai reached it. In the 91st minute, Juras Biknius hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Egídio Trindade scored 1-4 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Audrius Dūdėnas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Juliano Simões hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Sporting Clube Patrício's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
