Geancarlos Hijosa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Dylan Pizzuto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Facundo Urdiales, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Raymond Callus hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mark Borg Xuereb in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Juan Carrera saved MamiBella FC from getting behind. The supporters of MamiBella FC booed when Templars FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adam Aquilina didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mauricio Areta in the 20th minute of play forced Templars FC's goalkeeper Dylan Pizzuto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When MamiBella FC's Alvaro Graña in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Templars FC's goalie prevented a goal. Dylan Pizzuto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Facundo Urdiales, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alvaro Graña in the 42nd minute of play forced Templars FC's goalkeeper Dylan Pizzuto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 43 minutes, Juan Carrera successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Peppino Azzopardi in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Juan Carrera prevented the ball from getting in the gole.

Facundo Urdiales kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Templars FC's Dylan Pizzuto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Templars FC from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, MamiBella FC's Geancarlos Hijosa got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Peter Degiorgio took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Juan Carrera. Juan Carrera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 67th minute, Vilson Obregon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Juan Carrera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mark Borg Xuereb, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 83 minutes into the match, Mark Borg Xuereb had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Juan Carrera. MamiBella FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mark Borg Xuereb was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. A collision led to MamiBella FC getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Geancarlos Hijosa hit a great ball. Leopoldo Carrera kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. After some careless play in the MamiBella FC defense, Mark Borg Xuereb kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Juan Carrera. The MamiBella FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Juan Carrera should have stopped the shot. When the referee ended the match the Templars FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
