When Eduardo Louis fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Resurrección Diabólica Ψ's protests and gave Eduardo Louis a yellow card for diving instead. Virgilio Macerio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Casimír L´Hotelier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hipolito Cidro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Odón Mackenzie made a huge save. Ian Gillan might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Virgilio Macerio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ian Gillan ran back to his position shaking his head. When Ian Gillan fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Inter de Chillán's protests and gave Ian Gillan a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Inter de Chillán getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Ian Gillan hit a great ball. 20 minutes into the match, Inter de Chillán's goal looked a bit too open when Elvio Estebe came free, but Odón Mackenzie reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 20 minutes of play, Resurrección Diabólica Ψ's Elvio Estebe made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Odón Mackenzie was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Resurrección Diabólica Ψ booed when Inter de Chillán was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baraquiel Macchiavello didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Resurrección Diabólica Ψ's Hipolito Cidro slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Odón Mackenzie. That made the score 3-0 after 25 minutes of play. Odón Mackenzie made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Hipolito Cidro sent off a good shot on target. In the 31st minute of the match, Hipolito Cidro got a very nice opportunity to score, but Odón Mackenzie was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Hipolito Cidro in the 38thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Odón Mackenzie, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 39th minute, Resurrección Diabólica Ψ's Hipolito Cidro ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Odón Mackenzie. Odón Mackenzie yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 5-0. After 44 minutes, Ritchie Blackmore mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Inter de Chillán and the Resurrección Diabólica Ψ players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Inter de Chillán getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Ritchie Blackmore hit a great ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

After a defensive mix-up in Inter de Chillán's zone, Hipolito Cidro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Odón Mackenzie came out of the goal and Hipolito Cidro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Inter de Chillán getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Ian Gillan hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elvio Estebe in the 59th minute of play forced Inter de Chillán's goalkeeper Odón Mackenzie to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Odón Mackenzie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hipolito Cidro in the 63rd minute of play. Virgilio Macerio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Baraquiel Macchiavello in the 64th minute. When Resurrección Diabólica Ψ's Hipolito Cidro in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Inter de Chillán's goalie prevented a goal. Clemencín Serpa hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. If Elvio Estebe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 71 minutes into the game, Bairon Bernales was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Inter de Chillán's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Resurrección Diabólica Ψ the free kick. Baraquiel Macchiavello sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Resurrección Diabólica Ψ's Virgilio Macerio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Resurrección Diabólica Ψ from getting a goal against them. 84 minutes into the match, Elvio Estebe had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Odón Mackenzie. Inter de Chillán's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Elvio Estebe was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. In the 87th minute Hipolito Cidro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Odón Mackenzie saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 89 minutes into the match, Inter de Chillán's goal looked a bit too open when Hipolito Cidro came free, but Odón Mackenzie reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match clock showed 90 minutes, the score became 7-0 when Hipolito Cidro sped through Inter de Chillán's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Odón Mackenzie. Virgilio Macerio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ian Gillan in the 95th minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Inter de Chillán players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Resurrección Diabólica Ψ.
