With a little luck, MZ Fénix's Martinho Nunes got control of the ball when Marciano Timo tried to sneak it across the goal line. 21 minutes into the match, Aldaír Veiga notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of lןןl Plebe Del Emperador's Leandro Romildo. Leandro Romildo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marciano Timo in the 25th minute of play forced MZ Fénix's goalkeeper Martinho Nunes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Martinho Nunes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marciano Timo in the 27th minute. Martinho Nunes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eduardo Ruy's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. Eusébio Freire charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eusébio Freire the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 30th match minute, MZ Fénix was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eusébio Freire to maneuver through the defense. In the 31st minute, Serafin Haimar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vítor Severiano in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leandro Romildo saved lןןl Plebe Del Emperador from getting behind. In the 43rd minute, Luisito Francis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half MZ Fénix were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Marciano Timo made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to lןןl Plebe Del Emperador getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Carolo Lopez hit a great ball. Martinho Nunes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Inocencio Tono in the 54th minute of the match. When Bartolo Berbiz fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored lןןl Plebe Del Emperador's protests and gave Bartolo Berbiz a yellow card for diving instead. Martinho Nunes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hernan Nisio, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. 84 minutes into the game, Eduardo Ruy cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Martinho Nunes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Inocencio Tono sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 90th match minute, MZ Fénix was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maurício Mansilha to maneuver through the defense. Marciano Timo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. lןןl Plebe Del Emperador had won after a very even match.
