Olfert Lodian started the match with the kick off. Pablo Heitmann charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pablo Heitmann the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Holmkjar Hotspurs's Pablo Heitmann got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Holmkjar Hotspurs's Aleksander Thalbitzer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Belmiro Cearense in the 5th minute of play. In the 8th minute Halfdan Wøldike shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Laerte da Silveira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wilian da Rocha hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Natã Martins succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 15th playminute. In the 20thth minute of the game Olfert Lodian who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Olivedos's Laerte da Silveira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The Holmkjar Hotspurs fans' excitement grew in the 25th match minute when Holmkjar Hotspurs's Halfdan Wøldike looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 29 minutes, João Adolfo Pombal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Olivedos and the Holmkjar Hotspurs players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 29 played minutes Olivedos got a freekick which was hit by João Adolfo Pombal. After 30 minutes of play, Holmkjar Hotspurs's Vilfred Bornkessel made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Laerte da Silveira was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Olivedos's Natã Martins got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Aleksander Thalbitzer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Belmiro Cearense in the 34th minute of the match. Holmkjar Hotspurs's Aleksander Thalbitzer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Holmkjar Hotspurs from getting a goal against them. In the 38th minute, Ted Hurupp hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Natã Martins recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Olivedos's Oséias Nunes got a free kick in the 41st minute. Aleksander Thalbitzer made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Natã Martins sent off a good shot on target. In the 45th match minute, Holmkjar Hotspurs was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Helmuth Mannsmeier to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Holmkjar Hotspurs booed when Olivedos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edvaldo Lima didn't get a good kick on the ball. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Christiano Travassos was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Olivedos getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Edvaldo Lima hit a great ball. Holmkjar Hotspurs were furious when Walther Heltbroe was red carded, 59 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 59th minute, one of Holmkjar Hotspurs:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Holmkjar Hotspurs. Vilfred Bornkessel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Laerte da Silveira made a huge save. In the 72nd minute Christiano Travassos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aleksander Thalbitzer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 75 minutes into the match, Holmkjar Hotspurs's goal looked a bit too open when Natã Martins came free, but Aleksander Thalbitzer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Holmkjar Hotspurs made a substitution. Anton Dagger replaced Anders Bogholdt. Natã Martins kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Laerte da Silveira didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jimi Okley went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Halfdan Wøldike managed to get in a good position for a shot. Holmkjar Hotspurs's supporters rose to their feet, but Halfdan Wøldike was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Laerte da Silveira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Halfdan Wøldike had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jimi Okley got free with Laerte da Silveira in the 98th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
