The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Fernando Fagondo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Dante, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 10th minute Hector Frasco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valério Ramos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 15 minutes into the match, Bandelocos's goal looked a bit too open when Silverio Xabat came free, but Valério Ramos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Bandelocos getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Diamantino Seco hit a great ball. After 20 minutes, Chicão Dionísio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bandelocos and the Dunamis players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Bandelocos's Chicão Dionísio got a free kick in the 21st minute. After a rather tough play, Dunamis's Patricio Pitin got a free kick in the 25th minute. A collision led to Dunamis getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Valério Ramos was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Silverio Xabat kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Patricio Pitin charged in rather forcefully in the 50th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Patricio Pitin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. If Chicão Dionísio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 52 minutes into the game, one of Bandelocos:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Bandelocos:s Valério Ramos showed great skill when he stopped Hector Frasco:s penalty. In the 53rd minute, Hector Frasco left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Dunamis fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. After 59 played minutes Bandelocos got a freekick which was hit by Emílio Bueno. Dunamis made a substitution. Virgilio Arias replaced Silverio Xabat. After a rather tough play, Bandelocos's Emílio Bueno got a free kick in the 61st minute. In the 61st minute of the match Jesus Lamberto shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Valério Ramos showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 62nd match minute, Dunamis was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jesus Lamberto to maneuver through the defense. Dunamis's Fernando Fagondo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Dante in the 65th minute of play. Patricio Pitin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fernando Fagondo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Dante, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Diamantino Seco took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fernando Fagondo. Fernando Fagondo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Dunamis's Hermengildo Constancio was substituted for Cecilio Jusepe. After a rather tough play, Bandelocos's Delfim Teles got a free kick in the 82nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Bandelocos's zone, Hector Frasco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Valério Ramos came out of the goal and Hector Frasco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Virgilio Arias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Valério Ramos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Bandelocos's Valério Ramos got control of the ball when Patricio Pitin tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match was over Dunamis could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Bandelocos throughout the match.
