After having played for 9 minutes, Laurențiu Ene managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MIT's supporters crossed their fingers, but Laurențiu Ene was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Chicão Dionísio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 21st minute Laurențiu Ene shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valério Ramos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ian Barros charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. In the last second Leonard Cutean throw himself and got hold of the ball when Cristian Dante in the 59thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Diamantino Seco's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Leonard Cutean firmly grabbed it by the left post. 63 minutes into the match, MIT's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Dante came free, but Leonard Cutean reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nichifor Mara in the 96th minute of play forced Bandelocos's goalkeeper Valério Ramos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. MIT had won after a very even match.
