Martinho Nunes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 24 minutes of play, Intimos de Reynoso's Belasko Aguiluz made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Martinho Nunes was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 27th play minutes Belasko Aguiluz shot 1-5, a short shot which went by Martinho Nunes and just under the crossbar into goal. Belasko Aguiluz took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Martinho Nunes. Martinho Nunes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-6. 34 minutes into the match, MZ Fénix's goal looked a bit too open when Belasko Aguiluz came free, but Martinho Nunes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Martinho Nunes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gartzen Braña, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. MZ Fénix's Martinho Nunes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chayo Aguila in the 40th minute of play. In the 41st minute, Afonso Medeiros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. MZ Fénix's Martinho Nunes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Belasko Aguiluz in the 42nd minute of play. In the 44th minute, MZ Fénix's Aldaír Veiga ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Milio Cuero. Milio Cuero yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-6. Disappointed in the 2-6 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Belasko Aguiluz made the kick off in the second half. Martinho Nunes was a little too slow when Taio Lereira got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 51st minute. The score was now 2-7. MZ Fénix's Martinho Nunes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Belasko Aguiluz in the 54th minute of play. 59 minutes into the match, Belasko Aguiluz dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Martinho Nunes, 2-8. Intimos de Reynoso's Goito Becerril was substituted for Chayo Aguila. In the 64th minute Belasko Aguiluz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martinho Nunes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Intimos de Reynoso defense, Angélico Vaz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Milio Cuero. The Intimos de Reynoso fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Milio Cuero should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Intimos de Reynoso getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Gartzen Braña hit a great ball. 79 minutes into the match, MZ Fénix's Aldaír Veiga sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Milio Cuero narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 81 minutes, Aldaír Veiga mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MZ Fénix and the Intimos de Reynoso players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Intimos de Reynoso booed when MZ Fénix was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aldaír Veiga didn't get a good kick on the ball. MZ Fénix's Martinho Nunes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save MZ Fénix from getting a goal against them. Martinho Nunes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Belasko Aguiluz in the 86th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vedillo Legarda during the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 88 played minutes Intimos de Reynoso got a freekick which was hit by Vedillo Legarda. Goito Becerril could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Martinho Nunes made a huge save. When the match was over Intimos de Reynoso could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than MZ Fénix throughout the match.
