Spectators: 7722 (Terracing: 5792, Seating: 1776, VIP seats: 154) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Laurențiu Ene kicked off to start the match. After 3 played minutes Holmkjar Hotspurs got a freekick which was hit by Walther Heltbroe. Costel Cezariu charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Costel Cezariu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Holmkjar Hotspurs booed when MIT was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Costel Cezariu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Laurențiu Ene in the 15thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Aleksander Thalbitzer, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Aleksander Thalbitzer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Laurențiu Ene, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. MIT's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Petre Prislop in the 18th minute. Laurențiu Ene was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. 29 minutes into the game, Ejvin Stenbryggen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Holmkjar Hotspurs's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave MIT the free kick. In the 34th minute, Halfdan Wøldike left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Holmkjar Hotspurs fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Olfert Lodian fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonard Cutean having to interfere. In the 38th minute, Halfdan Wøldike ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Leonard Cutean was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Mădălin Corocăescu was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 46 minutes into the match. After 45 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for MIT! The referee gave Holmkjar Hotspurs a penalty, 48 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Halfdan Wøldike, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of MIT's Leonard Cutean. 0-3. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Olfert Lodian was the one to do the kick off. Laurențiu Ene fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aleksander Thalbitzer having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Halfdan Wøldike managed to get in a good position for a shot. Leonard Cutean breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Helmuth Mannsmeier in the 70th minute of play forced MIT's goalkeeper Leonard Cutean to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Holmkjar Hotspurs booed when MIT was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Laurențiu Ene didn't get a good kick on the ball. 73 minutes into the match, Halfdan Wøldike had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Leonard Cutean. MIT's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Halfdan Wøldike was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-5. Leonard Cutean was out of position in the 76 minute of play, and Olfert Lodian capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Olfert Lodian really showed his touch with that goal: 1-6. In the 84th minute Nichifor Mara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aleksander Thalbitzer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aleksander Thalbitzer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nichifor Mara in the 86th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in MIT's zone, Jimi Okley stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leonard Cutean came out of the goal and Jimi Okley tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, MIT's Nichifor Mara got a free kick in the 93rd minute. After 95 played minutes Holmkjar Hotspurs got a freekick which was hit by Halfdan Wøldike.
