The supporters of Bandelocos booed when MIT was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Laurențiu Ene didn't get a good kick on the ball. Through a series of nice moves, Bandelocos's Chicão Dionísio on his own came free in the 46th minute of the match and shot 3-0 behind a disappointed Leonard Cutean. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Chicão Dionísio was the one to do the kick off. Valério Ramos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Laurențiu Ene in the 53rd minute. With a little luck, Bandelocos's Valério Ramos got control of the ball when Laurențiu Ene tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Bandelocos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Valério Ramos should have stopped the shot. Leonard Cutean made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diamantino Seco in the 67th minute of play. Valério Ramos was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Laurențiu Ene showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-3 in the 70 minute of play. Valério Ramos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Laurențiu Ene, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute.
