Spectators: 7845 (Terracing: 5885, Seating: 1804, VIP seats: 156) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Tadeo Emenon took the kick off in the first half of the match. Severino Barto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sandrinho Xavier, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eulalio Rafe in the 5th minute of play forced New Loser FC's goalkeeper Eliseu Negri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 9 played minutes New Loser FC got a freekick which was hit by Evaristo Guimarães. After 10 played minutes, RED DEVIL's Tadeo Emenon shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Eliseu Negri came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in RED DEVIL reached it. 11 minutes into the game, Evaristo Guimarães was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. New Loser FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave RED DEVIL the free kick. In the 11th minute, Evaristo Guimarães hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ezequiel Bela in the 20th minute of play forced New Loser FC's goalkeeper Eliseu Negri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. New Loser FC's Eliseu Negri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tadeo Emenon in the 31st minute of play. With a little luck, RED DEVIL's Severino Barto got control of the ball when Sandrinho Xavier tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to RED DEVIL getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Ezequiel Bela hit a great ball. In the 35th minute, RED DEVIL's Agustin Misael seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Agustin Misael the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of RED DEVIL protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Agustin Misael had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in RED DEVIL fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 35th minute. Penalty! Duarte Azevedo shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sandrinho Xavier in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Severino Barto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 48 minutes into the match, RED DEVIL's goalkeeper Severino Barto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by João Pedro Goiano. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for João Pedro Goiano to strike the kick off in the second half. When Zé Augusto Magalhães fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored New Loser FC's protests and gave Zé Augusto Magalhães a yellow card for diving instead. New Loser FC's Eliseu Negri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tadeo Emenon in the 86th minute of play. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
