Spectators: 7702 (Terracing: 5778, Seating: 1771, VIP seats: 153) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Teodoro Bezerra got the match started through his kick off. After 9 minutes, Michel Uter mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Samba Fotboll U21 and the Shark FC - FSCMZ players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 9th match minute, Samba Fotboll U21 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Michel Uter to maneuver through the defense. Shark FC - FSCMZ's Rui Mandrak got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Leonardo Valström's late challenge caught a Shark FC - FSCMZ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leonardo Valström helped the player get up and apologised. After 14 played minutes Samba Fotboll U21 got a freekick which was hit by Leonardo Valström. In the 25th match minute, Shark FC - FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teodoro Bezerra to maneuver through the defense. Bo Jernberg made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Edinho Simões sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edinho Simões got free with Bo Jernberg in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bo Jernberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Teodoro Bezerra's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. After the first half Samba Fotboll U21 were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Frans Utfal made a kick off. 54 minutes into the game, Shark FC - FSCMZ's Dinei de Amorim nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bo Jernberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Glauco Velloso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gösta Sjö in the 72nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Shark FC - FSCMZ's Edinho Simões got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Shark FC - FSCMZ's Glauco Velloso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonardo Valström in the 75th minute of play. 77 minutes had been played when some careless play by Shark FC - FSCMZ's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Dan Eliasson was slow to take the kick. During this time Samba Fotboll U21's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Samba Fotboll U21's corner Per Kock fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Glauco Velloso quite easily take care of the ball. Dinei de Amorim's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bo Jernberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. Nicklas Lindgren kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Magno Linhares's late challenge caught a Samba Fotboll U21's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Magno Linhares helped the player get up and apologised. After 85 played minutes Shark FC - FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Magno Linhares. Glauco Velloso acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 86th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Dan Eliasson. Bo Jernberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teodoro Bezerra, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. After 95 played minutes Samba Fotboll U21 got a freekick which was hit by Charles Molander. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
