Seating: 1783, VIP seats: 154) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Pedro Finn started the match with the kick off. After some careless play in the Santos FC defense, Cássio Britto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rusty Little. The Santos FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rusty Little should have stopped the shot. With a little luck, New Loser FC's Eliseu Negri got control of the ball when Jamar Burton tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 10 minutes New Loser FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jamar Maxwell who took care of the corner kick. Santos FC's Jamar Maxwell was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Eliseu Negri in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Evaristo Guimarães took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rusty Little. Rusty Little dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Cássio Britto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rusty Little having to interfere. New Loser FC were furious when Olívio Coutinho was red carded, 19 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After a rather tough play, New Loser FC's Olívio Coutinho got a free kick in the 20th minute. Eliseu Negri acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 21st minute, took the ball on the long shot from Jamar Maxwell. In the 24th match minute, New Loser FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sandrinho Xavier to maneuver through the defense. Rusty Little made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sandrinho Xavier in the 26th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as J.P. Delarosa kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Eliseu Negri. That made the score 1-2 in the 29 minute of play. 42 minutes into the game, Jamar Burton recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Eliseu Negri. Jamar Burton showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. Benito Hyde kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. New Loser FC's Eliseu Negri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jamar Burton in the 47th minute of play. The supporters of Santos FC booed when New Loser FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Walmyr Porto didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
The wind increased when Cássio Britto made the kick off in the second half. New Loser FC's Eliseu Negri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jamar Burton in the 58th minute of play. Eliseu Negri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jamar Burton, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Rusty Little came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by New Loser FC's Cássio Britto. But to his dismay, Cássio Britto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. The supporters of Santos FC booed when New Loser FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sandrinho Xavier didn't get a good kick on the ball. Duarte Azevedo kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. In the 74th minute, Jamar Burton ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eliseu Negri was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-3. After a rather tough play, Santos FC's Jamar Burton got a free kick in the 78th minute. New Loser FC were awarded a corner in the 81th minute after Santos FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Duarte Azevedo took the corner. In the 85th minute, Cássio Britto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of New Loser FC booed when Santos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. J.P. Delarosa didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 93rd minute Evaristo Guimarães shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rusty Little saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rusty Little showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cássio Britto, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. Evaristo Guimarães received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Rusty Little tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
