Ivar Rolfsson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Anders Fjeldberg went, in the 3rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edvin Grønlie in the 20th minute of play forced AIK FOTBOLL's goalkeeper Ivar Rolfsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ivar Rolfsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Halvor Selstad in the 26th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tor-Magnus Skjelstad in the 28th minute of play forced AIK FOTBOLL's goalkeeper Ivar Rolfsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Halvor Selstad fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivar Rolfsson having to interfere. Untte BK's Edvin Grønlie pulled a muscle in his back after 33 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Nils-Erik Brogren's late challenge caught a Untte BK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nils-Erik Brogren helped the player get up and apologised. Untte BK's Georg Ågotnes was substituted for Edvin Grønlie. Ivar Rolfsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anders Fjeldberg in the 37th minute of play. With a little luck, Untte BK's Hans Nordnes got control of the ball when Nils-Erik Brogren tried to sneak it across the goal line. AIK FOTBOLL were furious when Conny Martinsson was red carded, 42 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 43rd match minute, AIK FOTBOLL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Conny Martinsson to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of AIK FOTBOLL booed when Untte BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thomas Reppen didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 47 minutes, Aleksander Stålman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AIK FOTBOLL's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aleksander Stålman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Stefan Mårtensson to make the kick off. Urban Stenström struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Hans Nordnes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AIK FOTBOLL. Nils-Erik Brogren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hans Nordnes having to interfere. A collision led to Untte BK getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Halvdan Thingstad hit a great ball. Hans Nordnes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stefan Mårtensson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Untte BK defense, Stefan Mårtensson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hans Nordnes. The Untte BK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hans Nordnes should have stopped the shot. Hans Nordnes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stefan Mårtensson in the 63rd minute of play. In the 63rd minute, Stefan Mårtensson made a precise shot to the right of Hans Nordnes. Untte BK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. In the 67th minute, Anders Fjeldberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ivar Rolfsson was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. A collision led to Untte BK getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Georg Ågotnes hit a great ball. When Halvdan Thingstad fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Untte BK's protests and gave Halvdan Thingstad a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Untte BK's Halvdan Thingstad got a free kick in the 80th minute. 81 minutes into the match, Untte BK's goal looked a bit too open when Aleksander Stålman came free, but Hans Nordnes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 82 minutes, Urban Stenström mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AIK FOTBOLL and the Untte BK players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Untte BK booed when AIK FOTBOLL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Urban Stenström didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Nils-Erik Brogren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 88 minutes into the match, Untte BK's goal looked a bit too open when Nils-Erik Brogren came free, but Hans Nordnes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hans Nordnes came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by AIK FOTBOLL's Nils-Erik Brogren. But to his dismay, Nils-Erik Brogren quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. In the 92nd minute, Nils-Erik Brogren ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hans Nordnes was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2. For all the effort they put into the match, the Untte BK players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for AIK FOTBOLL.
