In the 17th minute of the game, Hélder Trindade landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. Eriberto Giro's late challenge caught a SC Braga's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eriberto Giro helped the player get up and apologised. After 19 played minutes ★银河蓝★GalA FC got a freekick which was hit by Isaias Innocenzio. Ivan Cambranes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Honorato Calado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonides Eguntsenti in the 29th minute of play forced SC Braga's goalkeeper Octávio Moita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Braga's goalkeeper Octávio Moita, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
