Conny Martinsson hit a great ball. Ivar Rolfsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Otto Brask in the 13th minute of the match. In the 15th minute, AIK FOTBOLL's Börge Örtendahl seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Börge Örtendahl the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of AIK FOTBOLL protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Börge Örtendahl had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 15th minute, Börge Örtendahl hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 22 played minutes AIK FOTBOLL got a freekick which was hit by Stefan Frisck. In the 24th minute, Christer Mattsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. AIK FOTBOLL's Ivar Rolfsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save AIK FOTBOLL from getting a goal against them. After 31 played minutes AIK FOTBOLL got a freekick which was hit by Stefan Mårtensson.

The wind increased when Oscar Beckman made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fritz Mattsson in the 51st minute of play forced AIK FOTBOLL's goalkeeper Ivar Rolfsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 52nd match minute, AIK FOTBOLL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Urban Stenström to maneuver through the defense. AC United's Eskil Danielsson got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eskil Danielsson struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Ivar Rolfsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AC United. In the 60th minute, Andreas Colin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gustav Wästerberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oscar Beckman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ivar Rolfsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eskil Danielsson in the 73rd minute of play. AIK FOTBOLL's Ivar Rolfsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Otto Brask in the 78th minute of play. With his leg Gustav Wästerberg managed to avoid a goal in the 81stth minute, when AIK FOTBOLL's Oscar Beckman fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 85th minute, Michael Flinck ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ivar Rolfsson was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Ivar Rolfsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eskil Danielsson in the 89th minute of the match. Otto Brask took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ivar Rolfsson. Ivar Rolfsson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. AIK FOTBOLL's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
