Spectators: 7724 (Terracing: 5794, Seating: 1776, VIP seats: 154) Honorato Calado made the kick off and thus started the match. After 2 played minutes SC Braga got a freekick which was hit by Hélder Trindade. A collision led to AC United getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Erling Wennersten hit a great ball. 5 minutes into the match, AC United's goal looked a bit too open when Honorato Calado came free, but Gustav Wästerberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Octávio Moita took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bo Wallengren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. AC United's Gustav Wästerberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celso Belo in the 11th minute of play. In the 17th minute, Honorato Calado fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Gustav Wästerberg, passed just outside the right post. AC United's defense didn't have a chance, in the 19th minute, when Honorato Calado scored to the left of an out of position Gustav Wästerberg, making the score, 1-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Honorato Calado in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gustav Wästerberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Honorato Calado managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Braga's supporters rose to their feet, but Honorato Calado was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gustav Wästerberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 31st minute Honorato Calado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustav Wästerberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 37th minute, Honorato Calado got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gentil Vasques sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 46 minutes, Algot Bremming mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AC United and the SC Braga players grew even worse after the yellow card. Gustav Wästerberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Honorato Calado in the 47th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bo Wallengren to make the kick off. A collision led to AC United getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Anton Gernberg hit a great ball. If Honorato Calado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Honorato Calado in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gustav Wästerberg saved AC United from getting behind. In the 77th minute, Celso Belo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SC Braga fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Gustav Wästerberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Honorato Calado in the 82nd minute of play. A collision led to AC United getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Anton Gernberg hit a great ball. Honorato Calado hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. 90 minutes into the match, AC United's goal looked a bit too open when Gentil Vasques came free, but Gustav Wästerberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 91 minutes, Egídio Paixão managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Braga's supporters crossed their fingers, but Egídio Paixão was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fritz Mattsson kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Gustav Wästerberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gentil Vasques in the 97th minute of play. SC Braga walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
