After 2 played minutes AIK FOTBOLL got a freekick which was hit by Oscar Beckman. Ivar Rolfsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adam Alamaru in the 3rd minute of play. Josef Ålberg kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Stefan Mårtensson hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. AIK FOTBOLL's Nils-Erik Brogren got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Scorpions -MM-'s Avram Golescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nils-Erik Brogren in the 13th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eric Cimpoieru in the 16th minute of play forced AIK FOTBOLL's goalkeeper Ivar Rolfsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 20th minute, Cristian Fărcașu made a precise shot to the right of Ivar Rolfsson. AIK FOTBOLL's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind AIK FOTBOLL's goalkeeper Ivar Rolfsson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 24 minutes into the game, one of AIK FOTBOLL:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 29th minute, Urban Stenström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 31 minutes into the match, AIK FOTBOLL's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Fărcașu came free, but Ivar Rolfsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cristian Fărcașu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivar Rolfsson having to interfere. If Adam Alamaru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 44th minute, Alexandru Siteavu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Oscar Beckman made a kick off. Avram Golescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oscar Beckman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Oscar Beckman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Avram Golescu was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. Ivar Rolfsson was out of position in the 55 minute of play, and Eric Cimpoieru capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Eric Cimpoieru really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. After a rather tough play, AIK FOTBOLL's Conny Martinsson got a free kick in the 60th minute. Adam Alamaru blasted a shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ivar Rolfsson having to make a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alexandru Siteavu in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ivar Rolfsson saved AIK FOTBOLL from getting behind. Florin Brădea could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Ivar Rolfsson made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Börge Örtendahl during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 74th match minute, AIK FOTBOLL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Börge Örtendahl to maneuver through the defense. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Florin Brădea couldn't finish the play. After having played for 87 minutes, Eric Cimpoieru managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Scorpions -MM-'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Eric Cimpoieru was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Scorpions -MM-'s Cristian Fărcașu got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Scorpions -MM-'s supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
