Spectators: 7705 (Terracing: 5780, Seating: 1772, VIP seats: 153) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Honorato Calado took the kick off in the first half of the match. Gustav Wästerberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gentil Vasques in the 5th minute of the match. Gustav Wästerberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gentil Vasques in the 18th minute of play. Gustav Wästerberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Honorato Calado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. AC United's Gustav Wästerberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gentil Vasques in the 25th minute of play. After 27 minutes, Erling Wennersten mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AC United and the SC Braga players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 27th minute, Erling Wennersten hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 30th minute, Magne Lindell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Honorato Calado couldn't finish the play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Otto Brask was the one to do the kick off. In the 64th minute, Honorato Calado got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 65th minute, Gentil Vasques left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SC Braga fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. The supporters of AC United booed when SC Braga was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexandrino Bessa didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 75 played minutes AC United got a freekick which was hit by Fritz Mattsson. In the 76th minute, Gentil Vasques made a precise shot to the right of Gustav Wästerberg. AC United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. In a very dangerous position, a player in AC United fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 79th minute. Penalty! Gustav Wästerberg had in the 81stth minute some difficulties stopping Alexandrino Bessa's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Honorato Calado had several of the AC United's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 84 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-4 score and a disappointed Gustav Wästerberg as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 88th match minute, AC United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Otto Brask to maneuver through the defense. Gustav Wästerberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gentil Vasques, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Christer Mattsson during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to AC United getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Christer Mattsson hit a great ball. Octávio Moita didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fritz Mattsson went, in the 97th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. SC Braga played a much better game than AC United and deserved their victory. The AC United players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
