The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to AIK FOTBOLL getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Josef Ålberg hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Metehan Perkel in the 3rd minute of play forced AIK FOTBOLL's goalkeeper Ivar Rolfsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 6th minute, Metehan Perkel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ÇATALHÖYÜK Gençlik Klübü fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Efekan Sartık hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. The supporters of ÇATALHÖYÜK Gençlik Klübü booed when AIK FOTBOLL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stefan Mårtensson didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Urban Stenström in the 19th minute of play forced ÇATALHÖYÜK Gençlik Klübü's goalkeeper Semi Hançer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Urban Stenström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 25 played minutes AIK FOTBOLL got a freekick which was hit by Andreas Colin. Örjan Kaxe kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. After 27 played minutes, ÇATALHÖYÜK Gençlik Klübü's Songur Karataş shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ivar Rolfsson came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in ÇATALHÖYÜK Gençlik Klübü reached it. Semi Hançer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Urban Stenström in the 29th minute of play. Stefan Frisck made a great header on AIK FOTBOLL's corner, it was just that ÇATALHÖYÜK Gençlik Klübü's Semi Hançer managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 31st match minute, ÇATALHÖYÜK Gençlik Klübü was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Metehan Perkel to maneuver through the defense. Seçkin Keykavus charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Nils-Erik Brogren hit a great ball. Metehan Perkel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Ivar Rolfsson made a huge save. Metehan Perkel took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ivar Rolfsson. Ivar Rolfsson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Oscar Beckman made a kick off. Gencer Rafettin kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in AIK FOTBOLL's zone, Songur Karataş stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ivar Rolfsson came out of the goal and Songur Karataş tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Urban Stenström fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AIK FOTBOLL's protests and gave Urban Stenström a yellow card for diving instead. Semi Hançer made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Urban Stenström sent off a good shot on target. The ÇATALHÖYÜK Gençlik Klübü fans' excitement grew in the 70th match minute when ÇATALHÖYÜK Gençlik Klübü's Songur Karataş looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Seçkin Keykavus kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Nils-Erik Brogren who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 76thth minute tested the skills of Semi Hançer when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The supporters of AIK FOTBOLL booed when ÇATALHÖYÜK Gençlik Klübü was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Songur Karataş didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ivar Rolfsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Songur Karataş, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 81st minute, Metehan Perkel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. In the 92nd minute Metehan Perkel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivar Rolfsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 94thth minute of the game Songur Karataş who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AIK FOTBOLL's Ivar Rolfsson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. ÇATALHÖYÜK Gençlik Klübü were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of AIK FOTBOLL for a fine match.
