After 17 minutes of play, Kᴇᴛᴇɴçᴀʏɪʀ's Gökay Özakıncı made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Clemente Hermes was left in no man's land by his defense there! Romando Futebol Clube's Clemente Hermes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gökay Özakıncı in the 20th minute of play. 22 minutes into the match, Kᴇᴛᴇɴçᴀʏɪʀ's goalkeeper Olgun Vehbi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Elder Tróia. When Ramiro Brito fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Romando Futebol Clube's protests and gave Ramiro Brito a yellow card for diving instead. After 32 played minutes Romando Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Ramiro Brito. Kᴇᴛᴇɴçᴀʏɪʀ's Olgun Vehbi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dráusio Varela in the 35th minute of play. Elder Tróia might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Olgun Vehbi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Elder Tróia ran back to his position shaking his head. Elder Tróia received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Olgun Vehbi came out and tried to block the shot, but Elder Tróia slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 39th minute. 45 minutes into the game, Kᴇᴛᴇɴçᴀʏɪʀ's Asım Arif Yarkın nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Clemente Hermes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Elder Tróia stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Kᴇᴛᴇɴçᴀʏɪʀ getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Süreyya Kıvanç hit a great ball. In the 60th minute of the match, Gökay Özakıncı got a very nice opportunity to score, but Clemente Hermes was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Arif Koyak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Clemente Hermes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kᴇᴛᴇɴçᴀʏɪʀ's Umut Ortun was substituted for Sedat Şems. Kᴇᴛᴇɴçᴀʏɪʀ's Kağan Tunçöven was substituted for Asım Arif Yarkın. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Gökay Özakıncı managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kᴇᴛᴇɴçᴀʏɪʀ's supporters rose to their feet, but Gökay Özakıncı was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Clemente Hermes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baturhan Harmanda in the 80th minute of play forced Romando Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Clemente Hermes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Romando Futebol Clube booed when Kᴇᴛᴇɴçᴀʏɪʀ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kağan Tunçöven didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ramiro Brito scored 2-2 in the 87th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Olgun Vehbi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 92nd minute, Gökay Özakıncı left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kᴇᴛᴇɴçᴀʏɪʀ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Kᴇᴛᴇɴçᴀʏɪʀ had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
