Clemente Hermes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 25th minute, one of KaRaBaĞLaR !! - URAS:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for KaRaBaĞLaR !! - URAS. Vladimir Alvarenga shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Mert Nursal hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. The supporters of KaRaBaĞLaR !! - URAS booed when Romando Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guga Pinho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ramiro Brito recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Adelino Gaspar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Clemente Hermes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cem Umuralp, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When Cem Umuralp fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored KaRaBaĞLaR !! - URAS's protests and gave Cem Umuralp a yellow card for diving instead.
