Gavril Karandzhulov hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. 12 minutes into the game, Legia Warszawa 【L】's Florian Pryputnicki nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Evlogi Lukanov made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Lokomotiv Plovdiv's Evlogi Lukanov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Florian Pryputnicki in the 17th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ivan Ganchev in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Miroslaw Gejda prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Evlogi Lukanov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lech Cwynar in the 39th minute of the match. Miroslaw Gejda made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ivan Ganchev in the 44th minute. After 47 played minutes Legia Warszawa 【L】 got a freekick which was hit by Konrad Dunajski. Lyudmil Karadashki recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ivan Ganchev stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute, Walery Koczara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Miroslaw Gejda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gavril Karandzhulov, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Lokomotiv Plovdiv's defense didn't have a chance, in the 61st minute, when Florian Pryputnicki scored to the left of an out of position Evlogi Lukanov, making the score, 0-3. When the match had gone on for 71 minutes, Lech Cwynar took a quick shot and it went in 0-5 without a chance for Evlogi Lukanov to make any attempt to save it. Lokomotiv Plovdiv's Evlogi Lukanov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Florian Pryputnicki in the 74th minute of play. Miroslaw Gejda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ivan Ganchev in the 82nd minute of play. Aleksander Bejgier kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Miroslaw Gejda came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Lokomotiv Plovdiv's Ivan Ganchev. But to his dismay, Ivan Ganchev quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. 91 minutes into the match, Legia Warszawa 【L】's goal looked a bit too open when Apostol Gilev came free, but Miroslaw Gejda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 93 minutes into the match, Lokomotiv Plovdiv's goal looked a bit too open when Walery Koczara came free, but Evlogi Lukanov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lokomotiv Plovdiv's Evlogi Lukanov proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Lokomotiv Plovdiv from getting a goal against them.
