After 28 played minutes Chihuahua StrikerS™ got a freekick which was hit by Dércio Pimenta. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ionuț Marin in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Júlio Lemos saved Chihuahua StrikerS™ from getting behind. The throw-in from Sabino Vilaverde in the 38th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Paralia Athens's Lucian Mălăele. The audience was convinced that Gică Pârvuță's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Júlio Lemos was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. In the 45th minute, Chihuahua StrikerS™'s Cassiano Castanheira ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Marian Ciolpan. Marian Ciolpan yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Cassiano Castanheira made the kick off in the second half. Marian Ciolpan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Romão Furtado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Júlio Lemos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ionuț Marin, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. 59 minutes into the game, Gică Pârvuță recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Júlio Lemos. The referee showed Vintilă Chelaru the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 66 played minutes Paralia Athens got a freekick which was hit by Vintilă Chelaru. Marian Ciolpan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isidoro Vilarinho in the 67th minute of the match. In the 72nd minute, Mihăiţă Cobâlcescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Chihuahua StrikerS™'s Cassiano Castanheira in the 74th minute got a chance for a shot 74th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Marian Ciolpan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Romão Furtado in the 87th minute of the match. 91 minutes into the match, Paralia Athens's goal looked a bit too open when Romão Furtado came free, but Marian Ciolpan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Leontin Apostu fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Paralia Athens's protests and gave Leontin Apostu a yellow card for diving instead. In the 94th match minute, Paralia Athens was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leontin Apostu to maneuver through the defense. Chihuahua StrikerS™'s fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
