The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Yavor Pútnikov during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Júlio Lemos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Apostol Gilev in the 18th minute of the match. Bocho Nikolchev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Júlio Lemos having to interfere. Dércio Pimenta charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dércio Pimenta the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 20th minute, one of Chihuahua StrikerS™:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Chihuahua StrikerS™. Júlio Lemos had in the 22ndth minute some difficulties stopping Lyudmil Karadashki's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 24th minute, Romão Furtado ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Evlogi Lukanov was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Romão Furtado struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Evlogi Lukanov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chihuahua StrikerS™. Lyudmil Karadashki kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Lokomotiv Plovdiv's Ivan Ganchev got a free kick in the 46th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Ivan Ganchev took the ball and in the 51 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Júlio Lemos. Júlio Lemos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Chihuahua StrikerS™'s Júlio Lemos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Chihuahua StrikerS™ from getting a goal against them. In the 55th minute, Miroslav Gúnev hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Romão Furtado was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 56th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After some careless play in the Lokomotiv Plovdiv defense, Romão Furtado kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Evlogi Lukanov. The Lokomotiv Plovdiv fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Evlogi Lukanov should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Lokomotiv Plovdiv getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Evlogi Lukanov showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 70 played minutes Lokomotiv Plovdiv got a freekick which was hit by Gavril Karandzhulov. Evlogi Lukanov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cassiano Castanheira, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Evlogi Lukanov came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Chihuahua StrikerS™'s Cassiano Castanheira. But to his dismay, Cassiano Castanheira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. With his leg Júlio Lemos managed to avoid a goal in the 86thth minute, when Lokomotiv Plovdiv's Apostol Gilev fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Ivan Ganchev struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Júlio Lemos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lokomotiv Plovdiv. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ivan Ganchev couldn't finish the play. When the referee blew the final whistle, Chihuahua StrikerS™ could leave the field as winners, despite Lokomotiv Plovdiv having more of the ball for most of the match.
