The supporters of KS Bozywerek booed when Paralia Athens was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manuel Marghescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marian Ciolpan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zachariasz Wojtyna, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. In the 46th minute, Paralia Athens's Vintilă Chelaru seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Vintilă Chelaru the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Paralia Athens protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Vintilă Chelaru had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 48th minute there was a penalty for KS Bozywerek. Fabian Cebula stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Marian Ciolpan. 1-4. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Ionuț Marin made the kick off in the second half. Marian Ciolpan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Radomir Marajda in the 54th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Paralia Athens's zone, Hugon Panasewicz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marian Ciolpan came out of the goal and Hugon Panasewicz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
