Mădălin Brăiloiu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 6 minutes into the game, Magnus Brask was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kingpins's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- the free kick. After 6 played minutes Kingpins got a freekick which was hit by Magnus Brask. Kingpins's Mattias Asserlind played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Narcis Aursulesei in the 7th minute of play. 9 minutes into the match, Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Sven-Edvin Askestät came free, but Grigore Mardarie reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 16th minute Mădălin Brăiloiu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mattias Asserlind saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Mădălin Brăiloiu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Grigore Mardarie showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Casper Lindqvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Sven-Edvin Askestät scored 3-0 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Grigore Mardarie, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 42 minutes into the match, Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Björn Hellström came free, but Grigore Mardarie reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 43 minutes into the match, Narcis Aursulesei had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mattias Asserlind. Kingpins's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Narcis Aursulesei was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sven-Edvin Askestät to strike the kick off in the second half. Mattias Asserlind made an important save on a dangerous shot by Maxim Strugure in the 53rd minute. After 58 minutes, Cosmin Badea mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- and the Kingpins players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Björn Hellström during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Mattias Asserlind showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maxim Strugure in the 64th minute of the match. 68 minutes into the game, Leonardo Hermansson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Grigore Mardarie was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 75 minutes into the match, Kingpins's goalkeeper Mattias Asserlind had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Maxim Strugure. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Robert Grönlund during the 76th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Vlad Nicolae could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Mattias Asserlind made a huge save. Maxim Strugure took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mattias Asserlind. Mattias Asserlind dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-2. Vlad Nicolae fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mattias Asserlind having to interfere. When Sten Norberg fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kingpins's protests and gave Sten Norberg a yellow card for diving instead. In the 93rd match minute, Kingpins was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sten Norberg to maneuver through the defense.
