Spectators: 7947 (Terracing: 5961, Seating: 1828, VIP seats: 158) Machine Gun Kelly's Eulalio Errando started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Cleto Urtsin charged in rather forcefully in the 2nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cleto Urtsin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- booed when Machine Gun Kelly was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cleto Urtsin didn't get a good kick on the ball. 5 minutes into the match, Machine Gun Kelly's goalkeeper Carolo Ruisko had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Maxim Strugure. In the 9th minute, Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Eduard Mihăilescu seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Eduard Mihăilescu the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Eduard Mihăilescu had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After a rather tough play, Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Eduard Mihăilescu got a free kick in the 9th minute. When Basilio Pello came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Machine Gun Kelly fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Basilio Pello couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Machine Gun Kelly getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Eulalio Errando hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mădălin Brăiloiu in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carolo Ruisko saved Machine Gun Kelly from getting behind. Cleto Urtsin hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. In the 31st minute Mădălin Brăiloiu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carolo Ruisko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 34 minutes into the match, Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Cleto Urtsin came free, but Grigore Mardarie reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eugen Radu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carolo Ruisko having to interfere. In the 40th play minute Narcis Aursulesei came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Carolo Ruisko. 1-1.

Vlad Nicolae's late challenge caught a Machine Gun Kelly's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vlad Nicolae helped the player get up and apologised. Vlad Nicolae kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Carolo Ruisko stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Narcis Aursulesei's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. Eugen Radu's late challenge caught a Machine Gun Kelly's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eugen Radu helped the player get up and apologised. In the 57th minute, Eugen Radu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Narcis Aursulesei recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match had gone on for 67 minutes, Cleto Urtsin took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Grigore Mardarie to make any attempt to save it. After some careless play in the Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- defense, Cleto Urtsin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Grigore Mardarie. The Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Grigore Mardarie should have stopped the shot. Grigore Mardarie made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Cleto Urtsin sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eulalio Errando got free with Grigore Mardarie in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Although Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- had been in control for most of the match, Machine Gun Kelly still came away with the win.
