When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Sven-Edvin Askestät made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arlindo Prestes in the 52nd minute of play forced Kingpins's goalkeeper Mattias Asserlind to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jumentus Rock Club's José Carlos Zonta was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Mattias Asserlind in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Arlindo Prestes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mattias Asserlind having to interfere. Sven-Edvin Askestät could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but César Meirelles made a huge save. César Meirelles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sven-Edvin Askestät in the 65th minute of the match. In the 72nd minute, Kingpins's Sven-Edvin Askestät dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. In the 92nd minute of the match, Sven-Edvin Askestät got a very nice opportunity to score, but César Meirelles was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
