Paul Prisecaru took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised César Meirelles. César Meirelles dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. In the 43rd minute, Luizinho Mota hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. José Carlos Zonta was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, José Carlos Zonta had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Grigore Mardarie. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that José Carlos Zonta was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-2. The supporters of Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- booed when Jumentus Rock Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ian Mesquita didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Maxim Strugure in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck César Meirelles prevented the ball from getting in the gole. César Meirelles came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Paul Prisecaru. But to his dismay, Paul Prisecaru quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-3. 69 minutes into the game, one of Jumentus Rock Club:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Jumentus Rock Club:s César Meirelles showed great skill when he stopped Vlad Nicolae:s penalty. A collision led to Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Mugurel Hojbota hit a great ball. Eliodor Bântu made in the 77th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Vlad Nicolae immediately put the ball in play. An unexpectedly hard shot by José Carlos Zonta in the 80th minute of play forced Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s goalkeeper Grigore Mardarie to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 83rd match minute, Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albert Guriță to maneuver through the defense. In the 84th minute Nuno Corrêa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Grigore Mardarie saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
