Spectators: 8033 (Terracing: 6025, Seating: 1848, VIP seats: 160) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Fabiano Del Papa kicked off to start the match. 5 minutes into the match, GoooooooooooooooooooooooL's goal looked a bit too open when Fabiano Del Papa came free, but Viorel Crăcană reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 10th minute, Alfredo Lemma hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 11 played minutes GoooooooooooooooooooooooL got a freekick which was hit by Cornel Gabor. In the 17th match minute, AC Collins was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ennio Catena to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of GoooooooooooooooooooooooL booed when AC Collins was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ennio Catena didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Virgil Agudaru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Virgil Agudaru fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored GoooooooooooooooooooooooL's protests and gave Virgil Agudaru a yellow card for diving instead. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind AC Collins's goalkeeper Cristoforo Giacomini, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Paul Stănoiu who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 36thth minute tested the skills of Cristoforo Giacomini when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 38 played minutes AC Collins got a freekick which was hit by Alfredo Lemma. Olimpiu Receanu struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Cristoforo Giacomini didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for GoooooooooooooooooooooooL. 43 minutes into the match, GoooooooooooooooooooooooL's goal looked a bit too open when Domenico Graziani came free, but Viorel Crăcană reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Paul Stănoiu made the kick off in the second half. Alfredo Lemma blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Viorel Crăcană having to make a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Luca Brădescu managed to get in a good position for a shot. GoooooooooooooooooooooooL's supporters rose to their feet, but Luca Brădescu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cristoforo Giacomini breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Olimpiu Receanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristoforo Giacomini having to interfere. Cosimo Scevola kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Cristoforo Giacomini stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Paul Stănoiu's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. In the 77th match minute, AC Collins was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frank Rinaldi to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as AC Collins's Alfredo Lemma slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Viorel Crăcană. That made the score 0-1 after 79 minutes of play. When Cesare Trentini came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the AC Collins fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cesare Trentini couldn't finish the play. Dave Marrone could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Viorel Crăcană made a huge save. 95 minutes into the match, GoooooooooooooooooooooooL's goalkeeper Viorel Crăcană had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dave Marrone. The AC Collins players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
