The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabiano Del Papa in the 19th minute of play forced FCFiratRom's goalkeeper Kıvanç Sorgun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 26 played minutes AC Collins got a freekick which was hit by Alfredo Lemma. 28 minutes into the match, Ahmet Nasir Akkın notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of AC Collins's Cristoforo Giacomini. Cristoforo Giacomini was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Ahmet Nasir Akkın made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, one of FCFiratRom:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Bahattin Enfal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristoforo Giacomini having to interfere. FCFiratRom's Ahmet Nasir Akkın got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 77 minutes into the match, Cesare Trentini had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kıvanç Sorgun. FCFiratRom's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cesare Trentini was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Ramiz Çubukcu managed to get in a good position for a shot. FCFiratRom's supporters rose to their feet, but Ramiz Çubukcu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cristoforo Giacomini breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kıvanç Sorgun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cesare Trentini, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
