FC Dundee's Ivari Olumets played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paul Stănoiu in the 3rd minute of play. The player immediately received a yellow card. 14 minutes into the game, one of FC Dundee:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 17th minute, Iustin Tăcutu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The GoooooooooooooooooooooooL fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 23 minutes into the match, Haarald Ling had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marius Onișoru. GoooooooooooooooooooooooL's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Haarald Ling was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. GoooooooooooooooooooooooL's Mihăiţă Nicolaescu couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for FC Dundee. 34 minutes into the match, Haarald Ling had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marius Onișoru. GoooooooooooooooooooooooL's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Haarald Ling was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. In the 37th minute, Endel Kartul hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Mihăiţă Nicolaescu fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored GoooooooooooooooooooooooL's protests and gave Mihăiţă Nicolaescu a yellow card for diving instead. Mihăiţă Nicolaescu kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. In the 47th minute, Iustin Tăcutu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The GoooooooooooooooooooooooL fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Aare Hindremäe made a kick off. Ivari Olumets made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mihăiţă Nicolaescu in the 54th minute of play. After 58 played minutes FC Dundee got a freekick which was hit by Endel Kartul. In the 59th minute Mihăiţă Nicolaescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivari Olumets saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cornel Gabor hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Ivari Olumets made an important save on a dangerous shot by Iustin Tăcutu in the 72nd minute. Endel Kartul's late challenge caught a GoooooooooooooooooooooooL's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Endel Kartul helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to FC Dundee getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Endel Kartul hit a great ball. Mihăiţă Nicolaescu struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Ivari Olumets didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for GoooooooooooooooooooooooL. If Iustin Tăcutu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FC Dundee's Ivari Olumets proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save FC Dundee from getting a goal against them. Ivari Olumets made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mihăiţă Nicolaescu in the 91st minute of play. 91 minutes into the game, Valdo Orumets was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Dundee's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave GoooooooooooooooooooooooL the free kick. In the 92nd match minute, FC Dundee was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valdo Orumets to maneuver through the defense. Ivari Olumets made an important save on a dangerous shot by Iustin Tăcutu in the 96th minute. Ivari Olumets was a little too slow when Gavril Arșanu got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 97th minute. The score was now 2-3. The FC Dundee fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. GoooooooooooooooooooooooL were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
