Spectators: 7962 (Terracing: 5973, Seating: 1831, VIP seats: 158) Barrio Norte FC's Abel Espejo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Chris Lang took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Telo Pongó, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Chris Lang made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Telo Pongó in the 13th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Olympique Fribourg's zone, Telo Pongó stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Chris Lang came out of the goal and Telo Pongó tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Telo Pongó recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Chris Lang took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Telo Pongó, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sepp Gerig received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Gaspar Babul tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Barrio Norte FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Moncho De la Sotta in the 32nd minute. The corner ended in Abel Espejo almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Olympique Fribourg's Chris Lang did a great save. In the 37th match minute, Olympique Fribourg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Uli Bieri to maneuver through the defense. Moncho De la Sotta took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 38th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Chris Lang. Olympique Fribourg's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Valentino Staldegger kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Blaise Näf to make the kick off. Uli Bieri made in the 53rd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Blaise Näf. After a rather tough play, Barrio Norte FC's Abel Espejo got a free kick in the 66th minute. Chris Lang took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abel Espejo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 77th minute of the game Valentino Staldegger made a throw-in which Karsten Eggers played forward. After 79 played minutes Barrio Norte FC got a freekick which was hit by Abel Espejo. Blaise Näf's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gaspar Babul read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. Olympique Fribourg were awarded a corner in the 82th minute after Barrio Norte FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Uli Bieri took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Uli Bieri got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Gaspar Babul quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Gaspar Babul showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Blaise Näf, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Chris Lang made an important save on a dangerous shot by Telo Pongó in the 90th minute. Olympique Fribourg's Chris Lang proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 97th minute of the match, managed to save Olympique Fribourg from getting a goal against them. Barrio Norte FC were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
