Eliodor Petran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raí Bertassi having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mihai Poalelungi in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Raí Bertassi saved 27 de Mayo from getting behind. Raí Bertassi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andrei Zâncă in the 44th minute of the match.

After a rather tough play, 27 de Mayo's Adhemar Furlan got a free kick in the 51st minute. 27 de Mayo's Raí Bertassi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mihai Poalelungi in the 52nd minute of play. 27 de Mayo's Raí Bertassi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save 27 de Mayo from getting a goal against them. 55 minutes into the match, Andrei Zâncă had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Raí Bertassi. 27 de Mayo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Andrei Zâncă was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Dedê de Senna recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Raí Bertassi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eliodor Petran in the 61st minute. David Chițes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dedê de Senna in the 63rd minute of play. When the match clock showed 72 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Eliodor Petran sped through 27 de Mayo's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Raí Bertassi. After 74 played minutes Buffalo Timişoara got a freekick which was hit by Mugur Hudiță. David Chițes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dedê de Senna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mihai Poalelungi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 82 minutes, Valeriu Paraschivescu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Buffalo Timişoara and the 27 de Mayo players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Buffalo Timişoara's Valeriu Paraschivescu got a free kick in the 83rd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mihai Poalelungi got free with Raí Bertassi in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 94th minute Buffalo Timişoara were awarded a corner. Mugur Hudiță went to the cornerflag to take it. Buffalo Timişoara's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
