Spectators: 8012 (Terracing: 6011, Seating: 1842, VIP seats: 159) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Tobiasz Dudkowski got the match started through his kick off. After a rather tough play, Olympique Fribourg's Sepp Gerig got a free kick in the 7th minute. In the 8th minute Witomir Wejta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chris Lang saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 8 played minutes Olympique Fribourg got a freekick which was hit by Josef Gladu. In the 11th match minute, Bialski Bastion Legii was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tobiasz Dudkowski to maneuver through the defense. In the 13th minute, Blaise Näf left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Olympique Fribourg fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Martin Zinsli hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Tobiasz Dudkowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Chris Lang tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Olympique Fribourg's Chris Lang played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Witomir Wejta in the 21st minute of play. Chris Lang made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernard Pilarczyk in the 22nd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Witomir Wejta in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Chris Lang prevented the ball from getting in the gole. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Blaise Näf made the kick off in the second half. Chris Lang took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tobiasz Dudkowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aureliusz Scislowicz kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Ralf Bianco kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Josef Gladu's late challenge caught a Bialski Bastion Legii's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Josef Gladu helped the player get up and apologised. Josef Gladu hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. In the 59th minute of the match Wlodzimierz Daszkowski shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Chris Lang showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tobiasz Dudkowski in the 60th minute of play forced Olympique Fribourg's goalkeeper Chris Lang to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Tobiasz Dudkowski came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Bialski Bastion Legii fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tobiasz Dudkowski couldn't finish the play. The crowd rose to their feet as Tobiasz Dudkowski kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Chris Lang. That made the score 1-1 in the 72 minute of play. The supporters of Olympique Fribourg booed when Bialski Bastion Legii was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aureliusz Scislowicz didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 82nd minute, Uli Bieri sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Bialski Bastion Legii's Stefan Makomaski didn't even have to move. 87 minutes into the match, Olympique Fribourg's goalkeeper Chris Lang had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Witomir Wejta. Chris Lang showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tobiasz Dudkowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Bernard Pilarczyk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Olympique Fribourg getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Josef Gladu hit a great ball. In the 94th minute of the match Wlodzimierz Daszkowski sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Chris Lang skillfully saved the ball.
