After a rather tough play, 27 de Mayo's Renato Silveira got a free kick in the 9th minute. A collision led to 27 de Mayo getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Luiz Fabiano Albuquerque hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 15 minutes, Modestas Merkelis put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Raí Bertassi. When Absoliut's Modestas Merkelis in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Dedê de Senna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Marius Zybartas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Absoliut's supporters rose to their feet, but Marius Zybartas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Raí Bertassi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 27 de Mayo's Raí Bertassi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sigitas Barasa in the 33rd minute of play. In the 35th minute, Sigitas Barasa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Absoliut fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. In the 39th minute Marius Zybartas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raí Bertassi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 42nd play minutes Modestas Merkelis shot 0-3, a short shot which went by Raí Bertassi and just under the crossbar into goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dedê de Senna made a kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Modestas Merkelis in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Raí Bertassi saved 27 de Mayo from getting behind. Karolis Badauskas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hílton Cardoso's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. In the 61st match minute, 27 de Mayo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luiz Fabiano Albuquerque to maneuver through the defense. Modestas Merkelis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raí Bertassi having to interfere. Modestas Merkelis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Raí Bertassi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hílton Cardoso kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Modestas Merkelis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of Absoliut booed when 27 de Mayo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adhemar Furlan didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 85th match minute, Absoliut was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marijus Murauskis to maneuver through the defense. Raí Bertassi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marius Zybartas, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Adhemar Furlan's late challenge caught a Absoliut's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Adhemar Furlan helped the player get up and apologised. Adhemar Furlan kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Raí Bertassi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Modestas Merkelis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
