In the 27th minute Eugenio Dietsch shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nacho Gonzalez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Erling Jering managed to get in a good position for a shot. Real Racing Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Erling Jering was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gaspar Babul breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Erling Jering sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 35 minutes into the match, Barrio Norte FC's goal looked a bit too open when Emiliano Henry came free, but Gaspar Babul reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 40th minute, Nunez Larpe left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Real Racing Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

If Meti Gol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 54th match minute, Barrio Norte FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mete Chulets to maneuver through the defense. The Real Racing Club fans' excitement grew in the 55th match minute when Real Racing Club's Meti Gol looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. A collision led to Real Racing Club getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Gaudencio Lixandro hit a great ball. Eleuterio Abalos charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eleuterio Abalos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Eleuterio Abalos hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Barrio Norte FC's Francisco José Makaus shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 63rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Nacho Gonzalez but with some difficulty. Francisco Javier Millapan hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Gaspar Babul showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Meti Gol in the 67th minute of the match. Meti Gol struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Gaspar Babul didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Real Racing Club. Telo Pongó charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Telo Pongó the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Telo Pongó hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. After 95 played minutes Barrio Norte FC got a freekick which was hit by Moncho De la Sotta. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Real Racing Club had played much better football throughout.
