The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 7thth minute of the game Modestas Merkelis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Brzesko City's Karol Makomaski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Karol Makomaski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Modestas Merkelis, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. After a rather tough play, Absoliut's Artūras Miežys got a free kick in the 14th minute. In the 23rd match minute, FC Brzesko City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olaf Gizynski to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Olaf Gizynski in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Karolis Badauskas saved Absoliut from getting behind. After a rather tough play, FC Brzesko City's Gustaw Fink got a free kick in the 27th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sigitas Barasa in the 32nd minute of play forced FC Brzesko City's goalkeeper Karol Makomaski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 43rd minute Modestas Merkelis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karol Makomaski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sikstas Alzbutas's late challenge caught a FC Brzesko City's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sikstas Alzbutas helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of FC Brzesko City booed when Absoliut was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sikstas Alzbutas didn't get a good kick on the ball. 45 minutes in the game, Olaf Gizynski fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Karolis Badauskas having to interfere. Sigitas Barasa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Karol Makomaski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The supporters of Absoliut booed when FC Brzesko City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ryszard Falkiewicz didn't get a good kick on the ball. 52 minutes into the match, FC Brzesko City's goal looked a bit too open when Sigitas Barasa came free, but Karol Makomaski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC Brzesko City's Karol Makomaski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Modestas Merkelis in the 55th minute of play. Arūnas Gaižiūnas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Karolis Badauskas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olaf Gizynski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 69th minute of the match, Modestas Merkelis got a very nice opportunity to score, but Karol Makomaski was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After a rather tough play, Absoliut's Sikstas Alzbutas got a free kick in the 72nd minute. A collision led to Absoliut getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Marijus Murauskis hit a great ball. Karolis Badauskas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Chazon, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Artūras Miežys kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Artūras Miežys received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Karol Makomaski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 79 played minutes Absoliut got a freekick which was hit by Artūras Miežys. The referee felt a red card was in order, 82 minutes into the game, when Ryszard Falkiewicz put in a rough tackle. A collision led to FC Brzesko City getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Ryszard Falkiewicz hit a great ball. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 92nd minute, but Karol Makomaski got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving FC Brzesko City hanging dry this time. In the 94th minute, Modestas Merkelis reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Karol Makomaski. The goal made the score 0-1. Absoliut played a much better game than FC Brzesko City and deserved their victory. The FC Brzesko City players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
