After 3 minutes, Carlos Eduardo Rossi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the 27 de Mayo and the Buffalo Timişoara players grew even worse after the yellow card. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Andrei Zâncă took the ball and in the 51 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Raí Bertassi. Raí Bertassi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Egídio Proença in the 91st minute of play forced Buffalo Timişoara's goalkeeper David Chițes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Flavius Ştiopul hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. 27 de Mayo's Carlos Eduardo Rossi got his second yellow card of the match in the 96th minute.
