Alejo Gaspard was out of position in the 18 minute of play, and Camillo Travaglini capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Camillo Travaglini really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Camillo Travaglini blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alejo Gaspard having to make a save. After 41 played minutes Luganeros AFC got a freekick which was hit by Florencio Sancho. Ercole Grande scored 4-1 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alejo Gaspard, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Luganeros AFC's Alejo Gaspard played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ercole Grande in the 47th minute of play. Schuster's Camillo Travaglini got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Camillo Travaglini made the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute of the match Cristoforo Andreola sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alejo Gaspard skillfully saved the ball. After 59 played minutes Luganeros AFC got a freekick which was hit by Lino Remigio. After 64 played minutes Luganeros AFC got a freekick which was hit by Gilberto Domenec. Schuster's Filippo Di Girolamo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Schuster from getting a goal against them. Luganeros AFC were furious when Ernesto Pepillo was red carded, 71 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 71 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Luganeros AFC! Christian Pollastrini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Alejo Gaspard tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alejo Gaspard showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Camillo Travaglini, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. After a rather tough play, Luganeros AFC's Mauro Sendoa got a free kick in the 93rd minute. The supporters of Luganeros AFC booed when Schuster was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filippo Del Vecchio didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 96th minute of the match Florencio Sancho shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Filippo Di Girolamo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cristoforo Andreola during the 96th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Christian Pollastrini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 99th minute. Alejo Gaspard tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Schuster walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
