Spectators: 8010 (Terracing: 6009, Seating: 1842, VIP seats: 159) Herman Falkrantz started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 3 minutes into the game, Ove Björck was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Elmtaryd Agunnaryd's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Bal op het Dak the free kick. 5 minutes into the match, Elmtaryd Agunnaryd's goalkeeper John Brandt had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gerard Mulder. Elmtaryd Agunnaryd's defense didn't have a chance, in the 6th minute, when Dirk Tollenaar scored to the left of an out of position John Brandt, making the score, 1-0. Kurt-Jürgen Hamrin kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. FC Bal op het Dak's Edwin Batum got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kurt-Jürgen Hamrin in the 12th minute of play forced FC Bal op het Dak's goalkeeper Taco Neeskens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edwin Batum got free with John Brandt in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Örjan Östman charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Örjan Östman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 18th match minute, Elmtaryd Agunnaryd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Örjan Östman to maneuver through the defense. Taco Neeskens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kurt-Jürgen Hamrin, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Sven Keupink hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Gerard Mulder made the kick off in the second half. John Brandt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sjaak Saarloos in the 51st minute of play. In the 59th minute, Dirk Tollenaar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. John Brandt was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. If Herman Falkrantz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Elmtaryd Agunnaryd made a substitution. Edmund Trulsson replaced Ted Kiempe. After having played for 71 minutes, Herman Falkrantz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Elmtaryd Agunnaryd's supporters crossed their fingers, but Herman Falkrantz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, FC Bal op het Dak's Taco Neeskens got control of the ball when Kurt-Jürgen Hamrin tried to sneak it across the goal line. 77 minutes into the match, Elmtaryd Agunnaryd's goal looked a bit too open when Gerard Mulder came free, but John Brandt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 78th minute Sjaak Saarloos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but John Brandt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, FC Bal op het Dak's Taco Neeskens got control of the ball when Örjan Östman tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Herman Falkrantz in the 84th minute of play forced FC Bal op het Dak's goalkeeper Taco Neeskens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sjaak Saarloos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without John Brandt having to interfere. Taco Neeskens made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Kurt-Jürgen Hamrin sent off a good shot on target. Edmund Trulsson hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Gerard Mulder received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. John Brandt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Elmtaryd Agunnaryd players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for FC Bal op het Dak.
