Kostas Tziolas started the match with the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Wojciech Polkoski during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A hard shot by Thanos Kotridis from long distance, 9 minutes into the match, got Barnaba Tscherner's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Barnaba Tscherner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kostas Tziolas in the 10th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kostas Tziolas in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Barnaba Tscherner prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Olympiacos FC fans' excitement grew in the 13th match minute when Olympiacos FC's Kostas Tziolas looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 16th minute, Wojciech Polkoski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The KN ZGORZELEC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hieronim Piczak in the 19th minute of play forced Olympiacos FC's goalkeeper Fondas Kalantas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Kostas Tziolas fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Olympiacos FC's protests and gave Kostas Tziolas a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Olympiacos FC's Kostas Tziolas got a free kick in the 21st minute. When the match clock showed 26 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Kostas Tziolas sped through KN ZGORZELEC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Barnaba Tscherner. After 31 played minutes Olympiacos FC got a freekick which was hit by Kostas Tziolas. Barnaba Tscherner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thanos Kotridis in the 36th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hieronim Piczak to make the kick off. Barnaba Tscherner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Savas Drougas in the 54th minute of the match. Savas Drougas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, Olympiacos FC's Theofilos Touboulis got a free kick in the 59th minute. Fondas Kalantas acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 60th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Kryspin Rzeszutek. In the 62nd minute, Savas Drougas made a precise shot to the right of Barnaba Tscherner. KN ZGORZELEC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. The supporters of Olympiacos FC booed when KN ZGORZELEC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Napoleon Smolarek didn't get a good kick on the ball. 72 minutes into the match, KN ZGORZELEC's goal looked a bit too open when Kostas Tziolas came free, but Barnaba Tscherner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kostas Tziolas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Barnaba Tscherner having to interfere. Dominik Wojtowicz kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Fondas Kalantas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wojciech Polkoski in the 78th minute of the match. Kostas Tziolas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Barnaba Tscherner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanos Kotridis hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. In the 87th minute, Lazaros Tsakrilis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Olympiacos FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
