In the 3rd minute Herman Falkrantz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edson de Castro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Herman Falkrantz in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Edson de Castro saved Crisólia FBPA from getting behind. Elmtaryd Agunnaryd's Kurt-Jürgen Hamrin got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 9th minute Kurt-Jürgen Hamrin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edson de Castro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 11th minute Francisco Penha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but John Brandt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edson de Castro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Herman Falkrantz in the 16th minute of the match. John Brandt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roberto Neiva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Crisólia FBPA defense, Kurt-Jürgen Hamrin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edson de Castro. The Crisólia FBPA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edson de Castro should have stopped the shot. Edson de Castro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kurt-Jürgen Hamrin in the 30th minute of play. 32 minutes into the match, Herman Falkrantz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Edson de Castro. Crisólia FBPA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Herman Falkrantz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Örjan Östman in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Edson de Castro saved Crisólia FBPA from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Elmtaryd Agunnaryd's Hugo Hellqvist got a free kick in the 41st minute. Kauan Mangueira's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 43rdth minute, John Brandt skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 43rd match minute, Elmtaryd Agunnaryd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Herman Falkrantz to maneuver through the defense. After the first half Elmtaryd Agunnaryd were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Elmtaryd Agunnaryd's Andy Magnusson was substituted for Ted Kiempe. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Herman Falkrantz to make the kick off. Edson de Castro made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Kurt-Jürgen Hamrin sent off a good shot on target. Andy Magnusson kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Elmtaryd Agunnaryd's zone, Kauan Mangueira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. John Brandt came out of the goal and Kauan Mangueira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 61 played minutes Elmtaryd Agunnaryd got a freekick which was hit by Kurt-Jürgen Hamrin. After 66 played minutes Elmtaryd Agunnaryd got a freekick which was hit by Andy Magnusson. 67 minutes into the match, Francisco Penha had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of John Brandt. Elmtaryd Agunnaryd's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Francisco Penha was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Kauan Mangueira struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. John Brandt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Crisólia FBPA. Henrik Berggren hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. In the 87th match minute, Crisólia FBPA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Túlio Damião to maneuver through the defense. Edson de Castro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kurt-Jürgen Hamrin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dida Porto's late challenge caught a Elmtaryd Agunnaryd's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dida Porto helped the player get up and apologised. 91 minutes into the game, one of Crisólia FBPA:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 94 minutes, Elmtaryd Agunnaryd's Sven-Ove Berggren got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Edson de Castro. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Elmtaryd Agunnaryd had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
