Dimitris Giannakidis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Edson de Castro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Giorgos Maragozis in the 20th minute of play. The supporters of Kerkyra FC booed when Crisólia FBPA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nestor Leão didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edson de Castro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marinos Katsiaros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edson de Castro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marinos Katsiaros, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. In the 59th minute, Roberto Neiva ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dimitris Giannakidis was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. In the 61st match minute, Crisólia FBPA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jano Gerber to maneuver through the defense. Dimitris Giannakidis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kauan Mangueira in the 64th minute of the match. Edson de Castro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Valentinos Kanellakis in the 66th minute. Kerkyra FC's Giotis Kalokerinos suffered a sore foot after 71 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kauan Mangueira during the 71st minute. Kerkyra FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Giorgos Maragozis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edson de Castro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Thodoris Liouras during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Thodoris Liouras hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Kerkyra FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
