The supporters of C Ａ R D I N Ａ L booed when Barcellos Mineiro FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teodoro Neto didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Ovidiu Moțoc had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, C Ａ R D I N Ａ L's Sandu Onciu got a free kick in the 14th minute. 17 minutes into the match, Barcellos Mineiro FC's goal looked a bit too open when Horaţiu Aurelianu came free, but Gil Coelho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Iulian Enceanu charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Iulian Enceanu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Iulian Enceanu kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Valeriu Petruț showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teodoro Neto in the 22nd minute of the match. After some careless play in the C Ａ R D I N Ａ L defense, Galo Mineiro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Valeriu Petruț. The C Ａ R D I N Ａ L fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Valeriu Petruț should have stopped the shot. Gil Coelho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Radu Dacian, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. C Ａ R D I N Ａ L's Sandu Onciu shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 33rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Gil Coelho but with some difficulty. Gil Coelho made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Horaţiu Aurelianu sent off a good shot on target. Valeriu Petruț showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teodoro Neto in the 37th minute of the match. In the 39th minute, João Adolfo Hermes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Barcellos Mineiro FC's zone, Sandu Onciu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gil Coelho came out of the goal and Sandu Onciu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 44th match minute, Barcellos Mineiro FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Umberto Queiroz to maneuver through the defense.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Teodoro Neto to make the kick off. Valeriu Petruț made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Teodoro Neto sent off a good shot on target. Horaţiu Aurelianu hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. In the 60th match minute, Barcellos Mineiro FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Umberto Queiroz to maneuver through the defense. Valeriu Petruț made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Fellipe Souza sent off a good shot on target. In the 71st minute, Teodoro Neto made a precise shot to the right of Valeriu Petruț. C Ａ R D I N Ａ L's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Valeriu Petruț showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Galo Mineiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Barcellos Mineiro FC's Gil Coelho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Remus Ticulescu in the 79th minute of play. 82 minutes into the match, Barcellos Mineiro FC's goal looked a bit too open when Remus Ticulescu came free, but Gil Coelho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Valeriu Petruț made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fellipe Souza in the 85th minute. In the 86th minute of the match, Teodoro Neto got a very nice opportunity to score, but Valeriu Petruț was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Gil Coelho didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Remus Ticulescu went, in the 94th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Barcellos Mineiro FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
