John Brandt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Galo Mineiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Gil Coelho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Örjan Östman in the 7th minute of the match. The supporters of Elmtaryd Agunnaryd booed when Barcellos Mineiro FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Murilo Mattos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Teodoro Neto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but John Brandt made a huge save. In the 20th minute, Galo Mineiro fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of John Brandt, passed just outside the right post. Murilo Mattos hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. In the 32nd minute Örjan Östman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gil Coelho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Barcellos Mineiro FC's Fernando de Lara slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of John Brandt. That made the score 1-0 after 34 minutes of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Herman Falkrantz in the 40th minute of play forced Barcellos Mineiro FC's goalkeeper Gil Coelho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fernando de Lara's late challenge caught a Elmtaryd Agunnaryd's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fernando de Lara helped the player get up and apologised. In the 41st match minute, Barcellos Mineiro FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernando de Lara to maneuver through the defense. 44 minutes into the match, Elmtaryd Agunnaryd's goalkeeper John Brandt had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Teodoro Neto. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Herman Falkrantz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Örjan Östman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Gil Coelho made a huge save. Gil Coelho made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Ted Kling sent off a good shot on target. 57 minutes into the game, Álvaro de Carvalho was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Barcellos Mineiro FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Elmtaryd Agunnaryd the free kick. In the 57th match minute, Barcellos Mineiro FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Álvaro de Carvalho to maneuver through the defense. John Brandt came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by Barcellos Mineiro FC's Galo Mineiro. But to his dismay, Galo Mineiro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. When Murilo Mattos was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 69 minutes had been played. Henrik Berggren was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 72 minutes into the match. 72 minutes into the game, one of Elmtaryd Agunnaryd:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 74th minute there was a penalty for Barcellos Mineiro FC. Gernando Bueno stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving John Brandt. 3-0. Herman Falkrantz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gil Coelho having to interfere. In the 95th match minute, Elmtaryd Agunnaryd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ted Kiempe to maneuver through the defense. Barcellos Mineiro FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Elmtaryd Agunnaryd for a fine match.
