Spectators: 7973 (Terracing: 5981, Seating: 1834, VIP seats: 158) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Alessandro Mandrak started the match with the kick off. Stanislaw Wachna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jailson Koehler in the 8th minute of the match. Serafim Mesquita made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Igor Jenkot sent off a good shot on target. Nando Arruda kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Alessandro Mandrak took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Stanislaw Wachna. Stanislaw Wachna dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After 22 minutes of play, Várzea F.C.'s Alessandro Mandrak made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Stanislaw Wachna was left in no man's land by his defense there! Serafim Mesquita made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Stefan Daszkowski sent off a good shot on target. César Siqueira charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed César Siqueira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 33rd minute, César Siqueira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Serafim Mesquita was a little too slow when Lukasz Jarmulowicz got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 34th minute. The score was now 1-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hugon Waldoch in the 38th minute of play forced Várzea F.C.'s goalkeeper Serafim Mesquita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Albertinho Travassos's late challenge caught a FC Saxon's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Albertinho Travassos helped the player get up and apologised. Albertinho Travassos hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lukasz Jarmulowicz in the 42nd minute of play forced Várzea F.C.'s goalkeeper Serafim Mesquita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Serafim Mesquita showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lukasz Jarmulowicz, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. In the 53rd minute, Hugon Waldoch made a precise shot to the right of Serafim Mesquita. Várzea F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. After 55 played minutes FC Saxon got a freekick which was hit by Hugon Waldoch. Through an outstanding action, after 60 minutes, Stanislaw Wachna successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After a defensive mix-up in FC Saxon's zone, Jailson Koehler stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stanislaw Wachna came out of the goal and Jailson Koehler tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 63rd match minute, FC Saxon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomasz Treppa to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hugon Waldoch in the 65th minute of play forced Várzea F.C.'s goalkeeper Serafim Mesquita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alessandro Mandrak during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Alessandro Mandrak kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. After 68 played minutes Várzea F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Alessandro Mandrak. 69 minutes into the match, Várzea F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Lukasz Jarmulowicz came free, but Serafim Mesquita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Várzea F.C. defense, Lukasz Jarmulowicz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Serafim Mesquita. The Várzea F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Serafim Mesquita should have stopped the shot. In the 73rd minute, Hugon Waldoch ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Serafim Mesquita was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-3. Fellipe Pontes hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. In the 89th minute Hugon Waldoch shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Serafim Mesquita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 94th minute, Marek Dankowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The FC Saxon fans cheered their team off the field, for while Várzea F.C. had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
